I’m very enthused to announce that Jessica Engel has accepted the role of Director of Consumer Insights reporting directly to me. As you may recall, this is a brand new role for USA Marketing and will represent an integrated approach to identifying, applying and communicating the most relevant intelligence about our supporters, prospects, competition and trends. She will lead the Market Research, Business Intelligence and Inventory Management functions within the Product Marketing team.
Jessica comes to Compassion with over 9 years of experience with Procter & Gamble in numerous Consumer Data Analytics and Insights leadership positions across multiple brands, businesses and geographies. She has also gotten to lead a global digital center of excellence team, guiding brands on how and where to invest in digital media to achieve maximum business results. This included leading the P&G partnerships with industry leaders such as Google, Facebook, Oracle Data Cloud, Nielsen, etc.
Jessica lives in Hidden Valley Lake, Indiana with her husband and 3 children. She loves doing “outdoor adventures” with her family which include water sports, running, hiking and attempting to master snow skiing with three little people in tow.
Outside of the office, Jessica co-founded The Village Roastery with her husband – a non-profit micro coffee roastery with 100% of the proceeds going directly to orphan care locally and globally. ( to learn more!).
