Jackson left Boston and headed back home to Ecuador on Thursday, October 26th. Jackson will not be able to go immediately back to his’ home due to the inability to be able to keep the house sanitized enough to prevent Jackson from getting infections.
Jackson’s follow-up care will be monitored by the family providing images of Jackson and how his’ skin is healing. This will help the hospital determine when he needs to return to Boston for more surgery. This process will happen multiple times over the next 10 years. The first one is expected to take place in the next 2-3 months. They will also eventually do plastic surgery to help him live as normal as a life as he can.
How can you pray for him?
Pray for Jackson and his sister’s transition back to Ecuador. Jackson is self-conscious about how people will view him and scared about returning home.
Pray for the legal proceedings.
Pray for Jackson as he continues to process what has happened to him.
